Salvia mellifera 'Terra Seca' (Black Sage Selection)

Groundcover or Shrub, 2'H x 6'W, Sun, White/Light Blue, Evergreen

Salvia m. 'Terra Seca' is fast growing and drought tolerant.  The parent plant Salvia mellifera is native to California and found growing in Chaparral communities.  It can be used for erosion control or as a ground cover.  It should be planted in an area where it can spread at least 5 feet.   Large quantities may not be readily available but can be contract grown to provide material for projects requiring up to 10,000 1-gallon containers. 

The flowers are mostly white with a hint of blue on the edges.
