‘Cherokee Purple’ is an heirloom tomato variety known for its dark red and purple flesh, thin skin, and sweet, rich flavor. Multiple small seed cavities (as opposed to four or five large ones) give this tomato a dense, juicy texture that’s perfect for eating fresh. Tomatoes grow quite large at 4 to 5 inches wide and 3 inches deep. An indeterminate variety that does best when staked or caged.
