Agapanthus ‘Albus’ features the same growth habit and strappy evergreen foliage as the species but blooms in summer with bright white flowers instead of blue. A tough plant that is tolerant of neglect but looks best if planted in somewhat fertile, well-draining soil and given regular water. Plant in full sun to light shade. Useful on slopes and hillsides and grows well in planters. Tolerant of coastal conditions including salt spray. Leaves and bulbs are considered poisonous. Deer resistant.
