A dwarf, mounding form of Agastache, the Kudos series (introduced by Terra Nova Nurseries) is bred to be compact, easy-to-care-for, and mildew-resistant. They’re perfect for adding a pop of color to cottage gardens and perennial beds and borders. Agastache ‘Kudos Yellow’ blooms profusely spring through fall with spikes of butter yellow flowers on dark orange calyces that attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Features small, diamond-shaped foliage that has a sweet, minty fragrance. Deadhead flower spikes once they go by or sheer once or twice in summer to encourage continuous blooming. Highly tolerant of heat including reflective heat. Prefers moderately fertile but well-drained soil. Plant in full sun to light shade inland and water regularly to occasionally. Downy mildew resistant.
