A compact, fast-growing Agave with an elegant urn shape and cupped green-blue foliage. Leaves are mostly or entirely toothless along the edges with spines at the ends of the leaves. Produces multiple small offsets, forming a clump that grows 3 to 4 feet tall and wide. Once it reaches maturity, it will bloom with an 8 to 10 foot tall stalk of yellow flowers. At this point, the primary rosette will die, but offsets can be easily propagated. Tolerates full sun and reflected heat but can be grown in part shade inland. Plant in well-draining soil and water occasionally to infrequently.
