A distinctive-looking Aloe that forms trailing stems densely covered in thick, triangular, blue-green foliage. Resembling elongated rosettes, these stems can reach 2 feet or longer, crawling along the ground and even over garden features. Leaves are green-blue and lined with rows of prominent, soft, golden yellow teeth that line the edges and backs of the leaves. Foliage takes on varying tones in full sun and high heat, from red to orange to purple. In summer, it blooms with drooping umbels of tubular coral-pink flowers that open to orange. Plant in full sun in fast-draining soil and water only occasionally. Useful as a fire-resistant ground cover.
