A stately Aloe that forms four to six foot mounds of large, thick-leaved rosettes. Bluish green foliage takes on pink and violet tones during cool winter months. Leaves are toothed and curve outward as they grow. One to two foot tall spikes of bright red-orange flowers emerge in late fall and remain through winter. Grows well on sloped surfaces but will tolerate even ground as long as it is very well-draining.
