A dwarf form of Butterfly Bush bred to leave a smaller footprint in residential and patio gardens. The Buddleia in the Buzz series are a more compact, shrubbier form of the common Buddleia davidii. They bloom late spring into fall with long wands of vibrant, fragrant flowers that are a magnet for butterflies (as well as bees and hummingbirds). Great for containers. Plant in full sun to light shade. Not particular about soil type but prefers well-draining and at least somewhat fertile. Spent flowers should be removed to encourage the emergence of new ones, and the entire plant can be pruned back to woody branches in late fall. Winter dormant.
