A fast-growing, robust, and reliably upright Desert Willow variety that can grow 20 to 30 feet tall and wide. Its willow-like foliage is slightly wider than the species, giving it a fuller, greener appearance spring through fall. Blooms late spring through summer with particularly large two-toned pink and burgundy flowers. Produces fewer seed pods than the species, making for less litter. Plant in full sun in lean soil and water infrequently to not at all once established. Can take high exposure and reflected heat, making it good for sidewalk plantings. Winter deciduous.
