This succulent is native to the rocky cliffs and slopes of Catalina Island. Accordingly, this plant prefers rocky and fast-draining soil types. This Dudleya does not require frequent watering. The plant is easy to grow and will tolerate difficult conditions, such as drought and saline soil. The succulent can be used as an attractive groundcover or can be grown in a container.
