A clumping Echeveria with an open form and thick, triangular, pointed foliage. Bright green to grey-green leaves are painted burgundy at the tips and take on purple tones in especially hot or cold conditions, turning the tips eggplant purple to almost black. Blooms late winter to early spring with arching spikes of small reddish pink flowers with yellow lips. Plant in well-draining soil. Water occasionally and allow soil to dry out between watering
