A beautiful, fast-growing Echeveria that forms a 10 to 12 inch wide mat of multiple small rosettes. Its pointed, cupped foliage is densely packed into each rosette in a striking symmetrical arrangement. Leaves are a luminous lavender purple shading to rose pink at the tips and take on richer shades of pink and purple in both hotter and cooler temperatures. Useful as a ground-hugging succulent in rock and succulent gardens or added to container arrangements. Blooms in spring with arching spikes of pink bell-shaped flowers. Prefers light shade to part sun in hot inland gardens. Plant in well-draining soil. Water occasionally and allow soil to dry out between waterings.
