An Idaho Fescue selection notable for its vibrant blue-green foliage. Grows in a compact clump of fine, arching blades that reaches 12 to 18 inches tall and wide. In spring, it blooms with airy flower spikes that age to a light tan color. A beautiful ornamental grass that can be planted in masses or mixed into meadow gardens and perennial borders. Plant in partial or light shade inland. Although this variety is more heat tolerant than other Idaho Fescue varieties, it still needs some protection from hot afternoon and evening sun inland. Looks best when watered regularly but if conditions are not right, the grass may rot out or have sporadic die off, particularly in the summer months.
