A form of Jerusalem Sage featuring smaller, gray-green foliage than Phlomis fruticosa but with similar but smaller butter yellow flowers. A tough, compact shrub that adds a soft texture to gardens. Blooms spring through fall but its heaviest bloom time is late spring to mid summer. Plant in full sun to light shade in well-draining, even rocky soil. Once established, it is drought tolerant, needing only occasional to infrequent water, even over the summer months. Deer and rabbit resistant.
