A Rancho Santa Ana Botanic selection of Ribes sanguineum v. glutinosum that’s a vigorous bloomer, producing massive drooping clusters of pink flowers from late winter into early spring. It grows as an upright, multi-trunk shrub and typically reaches 6 to 8 feet tall and wide. Also provides food and habitat for native birds, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Plant in part sun to full shade inland in well-draining, preferably acidic, soil. Deciduous in times of drought and in winter.
