A low growing, spreading California native hybrid sage. Parentage is thought to include S. sonomensis. This hybrid can be great for slope coverage in small scale residential applications. Requires good drainage and air flow. Overhead irrigation and/or too much shade usually leads to powdery mildew. Can be extremely drought tolerant once established. Flowers attract hummingbirds.
