A strongly variegated cultivar of Salvia greggii. Originally patented, PP #8560 that has since expired. Grows in most ways similar to Salvia greggii. Has bright red flowers that are a bit larger than most S. greggii types typically sold. Good hummingbird plant. Random branches can revert to standard green color. Cut reverted branches off plant to keep variegation. Full sun is best to keep variegation strong. Cut back a few times annually to refresh growth and encourage reblooming.
