A highly compact Salvia thought to be a S. microphylla x greggii hybrid, ‘Mesa Azure’ features small, rounded foliage and blooms spring through fall with soft purple flowers on dark purple calyces. Plant in full sun to light shade. Prefers good drainage and regular to occasional water.
