Blue Chalk Sticks is a reasonably fast-growing succulent ground cover with upright, curved “fingers” of chalky, blue-green leaves. Perfect for use as a filler in containers and succulent gardens where its color and texture provides a contrast to broad green leaves and often-used shades of red and orange. As long as the soil is well draining, it can be used to fill bare spaces along walkways and sidewalks. Once established, it can survive long dry periods but will spread quicker with regular or occasional irrigation. Produces small, white disc florets in summer. Grows much more quickly and successfully than the tighter, more dwarf Senecio serpens, particularly in inland conditions. Deer resistant.
