Also known as Setcreasea pallida 'Purple Heart'. Best color is in the brightest light conditions although it grows in a very wide range of conditions including full shade. Good tropical looking groundcover that is more drought tolerant than one would expect although looks best with regular watering. Not particularily attractive during winter - at its best during the warmer months of the year. Pinch back after bloom to keep tidy and compact. Protect from hard frost. Snail/slugs can be an issue if not controlled.
