Also referred to as Little River Water, this plant is a compact, mounding shrub with tight growth. Though evergreen in nature, the resinous foliage can mature from red to yellow then green. Be careful to note that frost can also cause the leaves to turn red-tinged. Flowers are comparable to that of the overall species. Though rather adaptable to different conditions, well-drained soil is required for the plant and it can be difficult to establish in full exposure in inland conditions.
