A showy evergreen shrub or small multi-trunked tree, Acacia cultriformis is an eastern Australian native popular for its striking grey/blue foliage and spectacular flower display. Small, wedge-shaped, gray-blue foliage is densely whorled along the length of its long, arching branches. Blooms profusely with clusters of tiny, fragrant, bright yellow pom-pom flowers in late winter and early spring. Grows 10 to 15 feet tall and wide. Plant in full sun to light shade inland and water occasionally to infrequently. Not particular about soil type as long as it is well draining. Does well in nutrient-poor soil. Tolerates seaside conditions
