A variegated form of Agave guiengola with an open form and freely-moving, sometimes twisted foliage. Broad, thick leaves are pale green in the center with wide bands of creamy white to pale yellow along the margins. Starts out as a single rosette but is quick to produce multiple offsets around the base. Offsets have the same variegation as well as a slight pink to red flush. Leaves are densely toothed along the margins and have a sharp terminal spine. Once it reaches maturity, it will bloom with a 5 to 6 foot tall stalk of pale yellow flowers. After flowering, the primary rosette will die. Plant in sharply draining soil. Tolerates full sun in coastal conditions, but inland it should be grown in light shade to part shade to prevent leaf scorching. Can tolerate more regular watering than most Agaves. Inland it should be given regular to occasional water.
