A highly ornamental Agave that produces multiple offsets to form a small colony rosettes. Leaves are dark green with a prominent lime green band running down the center of both the upper and lower surfaces. The outer edges of the leaves (as well as the marginal teeth and terminal spines) are bright white. Primary rosette and its offsets will form a 2-foot-wide clump that may grow larger over a period of several years. Once the plant reaches maturity, it will bloom with a 12 foot tall flower stalk. After flowering, the primary rosette will die. Can take full sun to part shade inland. Plant in well-draining soil and water occasionally to infrequently
