A succulent shrub forming a large colony of elegant stemmed rosettes up to 3 feet high and 5 feet wide. Leaves are dark green, thin, and strongly recurved with small white teeth lining their margins. In late spring and summer, it blooms with numerous tall spikes of tightly-grouped banana yellow flowers. One of the hardiest of the shrub Aloes, it will tolerate light frost and will recover from temperatures down into the teens. Plant in full sun in well-draining soil.
