A reliably upright form of the California native Coyote Bush that is an important source of food and habitat for native insects, bees, and butterflies. An evergreen shrub densely covered in tiny, toothed, emerald-green foliage that grows 4 to 6 feet tall and as wide. Blooms in fall with clusters of puffy white flowers. Useful in large-scale erosion control, revegetation, and habitat restoration projects. Can also be used as a hedge or fence covering in dry, disturbed areas. Cut back hard every few years for denser growth habit. Tolerant of most soil types including sand and clay. Plant in full sun to part shade. Water infrequently to not at all once established.
