A grass-like Australian native that forms a compact clump of soft blue foliage that will remain upright even during flowering. Blooms late spring into summer with violet blue flowers on tall, red-tinged stems. Prefers regular to occassional irrigation. Grows best in well-drained soils but will tolerate heavier soils as well.
