A large Echeveria that forms a 2 to 3 foot wide cluster of multiple, trunked rosettes. Each rosette reaches 14 to 16 inches across. Lightly ruffled leaves emerge blue-green in the center of the rosette and take on tones of pink, red, or purple as they age and move to the outer edges. Foliage coloring and shape will vary from plant to plant with this species, and colors will change depending on sun exposure. Blooms fall through winter with tall stalks of red bell-shaped flowers with yellow centers. Prefers light shade to part sun in hot inland gardens. Plant in well-draining soil. Water occasionally and allow soil to dry out between waterings.
