A versatile selection of Eriogonum fasciculatum that is noted for its lighter green leaves and mounding habit. Great for erosion control and coverage. Flowers are more delicate than the true species but as with other buckwheats, the start our white with a tinge of pink and fade to a rusty color as summer concludes. Important plant for butterflies and other wildlife. Great for a habit garden. Basically carefree once established. Maintains it form without pruning but benefits from an annual pruning of the dead flowers after their aesthetic value is diminished.
