Blue Oat Grass is a cool season perennial grass that grows in tufted clumps of blue foliage. The variety ‘Sapphire’ has more intensely steely blue foliage than the species. Blooms late spring to early summer with tall, arching stems topped with straw colored seed heads. Plant in full sun to light shade in well-draining soil. Evergreen in mild climates.
