An attractive flowering perennial Native to Arizona, New Mexico, and northern Mexico that forms a small mound of scalloped green foliage and blooms in spring with clusters of bell-shaped dark pink to red flowers. Perfect for woodland gardens as it prefers partial to full shade. Can be planted in rocky to moderately fertile soil as long as it is well-draining. Looks best with regular water. H. sanguinea has been hybridized with the California native H. maxima to produce several other Heuchera hybrids that we grow including ‘Wendy’, ‘Rosada’, and ‘Santa Ana Cardinal’.
