A semi-evergreen selection of the American southwest native Bull Grass chosen for its showy flowers. In fall, it blooms with airy plumes of tiny pinkish purple flowers that age to a buff color in winter. Forms a compact clump of elegant, arching, blue-green foliage that grows just 2 feet tall and wide. An adaptable grass that is tolerant of high heat (including reflective heat) and drought but can also be grown in part shade. Tolerant of most soil types. Water regularly for best performance. Looks best if cut back in spring to refresh foliage.
