This cross between Lavandula dentata and Lavandula latifolia is exceptionally tolerant of high heat and humidity. It produces lavender blue flowers in summer, and while not as long-blooming as other lavender, its striking grey-green and cream variegation provides year-round interest. With pruning it will grow into a compact, two to three foot shrub. Needs well-draining soil and flowers best in full sun. Can be grown in both in-ground and container gardens. Deer resistant and attractive to bees.
