A variety of English Lavender popular for its compact growth habit and heat and drought tolerance. Highly fragrant deep violet blue flower spikes rise above its grey / green foliage in spring and early summer. Only growing to about 18 inches tall, it’s perfect for edging walkways and garden paths or growing in containers. Semi dormant in winter, so it’s best to shear or cut back then to maintain compact form and improve spring flower performance. Highly attractive to bees and butterflies. Needs fast draining soil and will thrive even in poor or sandy soils. Requires protection from heat and direct exposure in inland areas. Deer resistant.
