A dwarf, evergreen lavender with a very compact and tight habit that blooms with deep lavender-blue flowers in spring into summer. Much tighter appearance than either of the more common Hidcote and Munstead selections. Great for container gardens.Fragrant and attracts hummingbirds. Flowers should be cut back to encourage continual blooming. Best in partial sun conditions in inland S. California gardens to protect them from intense summer heat and exposure. Too much shade will lead to errant growth and poor blooming. Goes semi-dormant in winter in most S. California regions. Will go fully dormant in the coldest of areas.
