Westringia

Westringias are evergreen shrubs native to Australia. They grow well in the ornamental garden and landscape as a screen, background, and slope shrub. The foliage consists of small, delicate, light gray-green or variegated leaves. The flowers range in color from white to light lavender. Most of the prolific blooming occurs from late winter to early summer although they flower periodically throughout the year. While some species have a loose form, others, such as Westringia fruiticosa, are sufficiently dense so they can be shaped and used as a hedge or screen.

REQUIREMENTS: Westringias prefer low amounts of water, good drainage, and full sun. They will grow well under partial shade conditions but blooms may be reduced.
