Thought to be a hybrid of G. longifolia and G. caleyi, Grevillea ‘Ivanhoe’ is a large ornamental shrub with narrow, deeply-toothed foliage. Can grow up to 15 feet tall and 9 feet wide, but can be kept smaller with pruning. Great for use as a flowering hedge or in a garden where cuttings can be taken for flower arrangements. Leaves are green on top and silvery green on the bottom, and new growth is tinged red at the tips. Blooms winter into summer with pinkish-red, toothbrush-like flowers that are highly attractive to hummingbirds. A low maintenance shrub. Drought tolerant once established but tolerates moist soil. Plant in full sun to light shade.
